Rotary Youth Exchange inspires young leaders to serve as catalysts for peace and social justice in their local communities and throughout the world, long after their exchanges end. This program is possible because of the dedication, leadership, and passion of the tens of thousands of volunteers — Rotary members and nonmembers alike — who make this unique program so successful.
As a Rotary Youth Exchange student, you'll spend up to 12 months living and studying overseas. During your exchange you'll learn a lot about yourself, the culture of your adopted host families and the diversity of your host country. It's an amazing, life-changing experience.
Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) is a Rotary International student exchange program for students in secondary school.Since 1929, Rotary International has sent young people around the globe to experience new cultures. Currently, about 9,000 students are sponsored by Rotary clubs every year.Rotary Clubs may nominate one essay. The deadline to email contest applications is March 6, 2020. All entries must be received on or before this date. The District 7610 first place winner will be honored at the 2020 Rotary District Conference on April 4, 2020. It is very important for student’s safety and the success of the program that these rules are respected and observed by all.
The Four-Way Test Essay contest in District 7390 was initiated in 2006-07 by the Rotary Club of Mechanicsburg-North in the 9 th grade at Cumberland Valley High School. The winner of their 2007-08 contest presented her essay at the District Conference and was well received.Read More
